What is a Tipi? A tent? A Home? A structure? Tipi consists of 2 Lakotah Words. What do these Words mean?

I have lived in Mita Oti, My “Tipi”, now almost 4 full years. I have been Through much. This Morning, as I was fortunate enough to once again hear Wisdom from the Dog Soldier Society Headsman as he drove me from Birney, to Ashland, before the other riders hop on the “RezRunner” transit van, I thought about many things he stirred within my Being.

I am very Honored to be able to know so many Cheyenne Allies. They have welcomed me, embraced me, I am even the Door Man of the Swift Fox Society. This is all due to Mita Oti.

Tipi takes these Things from you and gives you Serenity. So, even if I am passionately speaking or even correcting someone, even though it seems I am angered and some would say even hateful, I am Serene.
